DO NOT BUY if you are looking for quality and durability

I wish there were negative stars. I bought this in November as a Christmas present for my husband. Since it was Florsheim, I assumed that was exactly the quality I wanted from that name. Boy was I wrong. Broke on February 27th, less than three months after purchase. Of course my return window is closed so now I have no money and need to buy my husband a new belt. Buyer caution DO NOT buy if you are looking for quality and durability.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Something else

The black finish wears off after a pair of socks

I used to have this belt and it showed good quality and lasted for several years so I bought the same belt again. What a shock! The belt found was slightly different from the old belt, but I assumed it was because it was new. The buckle's spike was sharp where it almost cut my fingers several times before I got used to it. The final downside was the loss of the black trim due to rubbing the pant belt loops after only a few wears. I never thought that a quality name like Florsheim could offer…

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • some little things

Looks like poor quality low density composite metal

The belt was fine until the support rod holding it to the belt broke. the width and the leather have held up in the last few months. But the connecting rod broke in 2 places! It should be thicker than 2mm and the buckle should be better quality metal!

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Protection
