As always a quality product from Flowmaster. I could have saved a few bucks by buying it elsewhere, but the small savings weren't worth the convenience of the Revain.

If it was installed on my expedition with the expectation of an aggressive exhaust note, it's not. I am very disappointed and saddened by this. I'd like to pick a very aggressive one, the most aggressive one, because that's probably what I wanted to hear from my truck. Good quality product!

Recently installed on my 2003 Avalanche Z71. Place 3 inches away from the cat's back. This muffler definitely amplifies the sound. I've installed 40s in other cars before but this one seems to have a little more internal resonance than others I've had, but it's also possible because it's a high airflow 3" model. But a great choice, sounds great!

The truck sounds great. It really opened up the exhaust of my 5.3 Silverado. It is not too loud and is good for daily driving. I live next to other houses and I didn't want anything loud enough to wake the neighbors. But once I'm out of range I can step on the gas a bit and really start to hear the engine. Right now, the truck is only marginally quieter than some of the other cat-back replacement systems.
