Disappointing Muffler, Avoid At All Costs!

According to my experience, this automotive exhaust system part was a complete waste of money. The muffler did not fit properly and lasted only a few months before rusting and falling apart. The sound was not any better than the stock muffler, and the installation process was unnecessarily difficult.

Great sound, but not insanely loud!

Great quality and great sound, but. I installed long tubes and had no choice but to record cats with straight tubes and it was terribly loud so I went with the quieter version. Currently. With high flow cats and these I wish it was a little louder but it sounds great.

Flowmaster 40 Muffler Delta Flow

I bought this muffler for my 2001 Jeep Wrangler to replace the muffler on my aftermarket Banks Monster exhaust. My old muffler lost all of its packaging after a few years and it was banging loudly inside. My guess is that the muffler burned out because it sits right behind the catalytic converter and had too much heat for it. The Flowmaster is a chambered silencer (no fill to burn out) so I'm not worried about it getting louder over time. The sound is good, not too loud, but you can definitely…
