Description of Fluid Film Non Aerosol Undercoating Snow Handling

FLUID FILM BLACK offer powerful corrosion protection for all metals and superior lubrication for moving parts. The long lasting thixotropic liquids and gels is aptly used in the highly corrosive marine environment and vehicle undercoating in the automotive and snow handling industries. HOW IT WORKS. The wet barrier creeps and migrates into tight seams and into the metal chassis to provide corrosion protection from salts and brines. Protects your vehicle while restoring a rich black color to the chassis or cover existing rust. NO SOLVENT. Formulated from specially processed wool-wax, highly refined petroleum oils and selected agents, providing a non-toxic, non-irritating, non-flammable coating for corrosion control, penetration, metal wetting and water displacement. WIDELY USED for maintenance of locks & hinges at home, lawn & garden tools & equipment, as well as in the aviation and automobile industries. In government and commercial facilities. Equipment in fishing, gas companies, farming, salt, power and industrial plants. SALVAGE DAMAGES. Damaged, heavily corroded and/or frozen parts such as nuts, bolts, shafts, etc. can be salvaged by applying FLUID FILM BLACK. It provides a non-toxic, non-irritating, non-flammable coating that remains in a permanently soft gel state.

Works great, tastes terrible

Buying a bucket of elephant snot and using a Fluid Film spray gun is much more effective than using canned rattles. Expect a big mess when filling the bottle, use a wide-mouth funnel if you don't have a pump. I used 1 1/2 gallons to completely cover the 2004 Ranger's undercarriage, doors and hood. Sticks well, doesn't drip onto driveway when sprayed unlike FF cans which make a big mess. Black looks really cool too!

Pros
  • HOW IT WORKS. The wet barrier slips and migrates into the taped seams and metal chassis, protecting against corrosion from salts and saline solutions. Protects the car by restoring a rich black finish or covering up existing rust
Cons
  • Some Problems

I got a gallon of these and a set of wool wax gun, after some trouble shooting the gun (can't tighten the nozzle down, you need a leave small gap hence lock nut) to figure out how to get the suction and put a gallon film of liquid in a boiling pot of water to dilute it worked great, just melt and wipe the heat gun to clean...glossy black , did it in the back driveway, from minimal to clean... will always do this on all my cars from now on

Pros
  • WIDELY USED for household lock and hinge maintenance, gardening tools and equipment, and in the aerospace and automotive industries. in government and commercial institutions. Equipment for fisheries, gas companies, agriculture, salt, power plants and industrial plants
Cons
  • I won't say anything
