My Russian loves this food!

My Russian tortoise is very picky and I had trouble figuring out what she would eat after we adopted her. A friend told me about it and it was amazing. He loves to. now he runs out almost running and is waiting at his plate when he sees me. It's such a relief to see him happy and eating. Highly recommended!

Food for tortoises in food

Unfortunately, the food didn't fit my 2-year-old tortoises. I even soaked it in water as another reviewer said. I've been trying for 3 days and they won't touch it. I was so hoping they would like it. The reviews were very positive, so I decided to give it a try. Only gave it one star because I couldn't think of what they wouldn't eat.

A must for my growing Sulcata :)

My 2.5 year old Sulcata, Presley, is addicted to this stuff! I have been feeding him since I adopted him when he was 2 months old and this is a daily must for him. His carapace gets nice and slick too, so if you're having pyramid issues with that, don't. It's the perfect nutritional balance for your cake :)

Pros
  • Great for a small house

My salcata loves them!

My turtle Salcata lives on these pieces! I soak a full scoop in a small cup with some water, after 20 minutes they are plump, soft and smell like fruity pebbles! As soon as he smells them, he climbs out of his house after them. Now he is 2 years old and it has been amazing for his appetite and growth. This is a great addition to his usual diet of vegetables and turtle nuggets.

Pros
  • super price
Cons
  • boring packaging

Great for a turtle snack

When they first tried to sprinkle this food on their salad, they ate very little, but after putting it on a plate as seen in the picture, they suddenly started eating it. Smells like fruit. And the price was only a dollar something when I bought it. These granules are small, smaller than a pea. So I would use it for small young turtles or smaller species. I have a 3 year old Sulcatas.

Honest Review: Food

I have little sulcata tortoises and they are such picky eaters and I was worried about them if they didn't eat enough they wouldn't be healthy enough. First I ordered Mazuri Tortose Diet and they both took a bite and that was it. So I wasn't sure if they would like this product or not. I ordered a small bag and as soon as it was soaked with water they both started fighting over the food and for the first time I saw her eating. The only problem is that the pieces are too small and not easy to…

Bought Fluker's Land Turtle Tortoise Diet for a rescued ornate box turtle here in Missouri that got stuck in a drainage ditch and gave up our rescued reptile from the cable man, who found him. He was very emaciated and it was obvious that he had not eaten for a long time. The Fluker brand has always offered superior nutritional formulas, which is why we chose this brand for the rescued box turtle. On this diet supplemented with insects and vegetables he gained significant weight and we…
