🔧 Enhanced A1175 Fluval Plastic Air Control Valve for Improved Performance Review

It does exactly what it's supposed to do. Before the installation, the air bubbles were so strong that our males and tetras turned and swam against the current. Now they are very happy and their water is carbonated!

. Looking at the design I was hoping it would be a real control valve for air/gas volume/flow control. No, it's pretty much a binary on/off. I'm not sure how much pressure it takes.

Purchased to reduce airflow for my Tatra Wisper 20. I like the threads on the ends. Makes it very easy to attach the hose. The only thing I want to change is the actual airflow controls. I have it either on or off. I plan on twisting it a bit so maybe it's easier to adjust without making it too stiff? Idk I just need it to actually work for my axolotl to be happy. In general I am satisfied. I'm just thinking I need a break in my period?

Of all the air valves this is the worst I have ever used and I was stupid enough to buy multiple products because of the price. It just doesn't work, it either goes from full throttle mode to off mode. There is no medium. Normally you can turn the knobs to change the intensity from 1 to 10, but it's either 1 or 10, it's not medium intensity. I bought it because of the large handle to make it easier to dial a drip line drip account. I thought it was a rotary adjustment and didn't realize it was a 90 degree ball valve. It works great as travel or course use, but it's hard to move and forget a dropper kit. Ziss produces the same price, which I really liked.
