What a relief for picture hangers

I recently hung a painting on 3/4 inch thick cardstock for a show at a gallery and didn't have anything to hang it with. I ordered them and bought a clear hanging wire and it worked great.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Vulgarity

They do the job!: Picture hanger

It's really easy to hang something on a foam base. I'm a photographer and this makes it easy to hang my photos. They are also easy to remove and remove hangers. When I use glue hangers, they always tear off part of the foam core. They only leave a few tiny holes.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Very expensive

I am a custom frame builder and have used .

I am a custom frame builder and have used this type of suspension for years but recently it has become unavailable from my supplier. Sometimes I stick posters on styrofoam. Those plastic hangers just don't do the job. The glue will come off and the poster will be damaged. I've never owned one of those sawtooth hangers.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • Zero

Great value and good for hanging Styrofoam

I use these to hang pictures that I have mounted on Styrofoam and they work great. As mentioned, you can bend the two spikes at different angles to make them work with different thickness foam boards (3/16 inch boards are fine). small box with a bag of 100 pieces).

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Renovation

Doesn't work for me.

Didn't fit me so well. The first time the hooks went right through the foam and then I spent 20 minutes trying to get them to stay long enough to actually hang something. Spent more time getting these hooks off the floor. When I then picked up the board, it fell off the wall with a vibration. Eventually I gave up, made some thin nails and nailed the styrofoam directly to the wall and it works great.

Pros
  • price
Cons
  • price piggy bank

You can hang an incredible amount of weight

These hangers are specially designed for foam board, with teeth pointing up to allow gravity to hold them in place. They look very flimsy, but they work. I only used one to hang a 24" x 36" foam board that was 3/4" thick. This board has an additional 3/16" matte board with a photo glued to it, so the whole thing really pops weighs a lot.Ordinary straight hangers just pulled out and tried to do the same job.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Finally! Hang hung prints without costly framing.

I have used these for thin hobby lobby foam sheets that I use to attach photos I have taken. You can bend the tabs of the insert slightly to reduce the depth they go into the board. My foam board measures about 1/4 inch. I had many finished prints leaning against the wall on the mantelpiece until I found these little gems. And only one is needed for a 16x20 print. Just move away from the wall to look stylish. Just make sure you place them right in the middle on the back of the print.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black

Received these hangers today and hung my card backed painting on the wall. Many shops sell paintings with a cardboard backing and frame and come with hangers pre-installed on the back of the painting, but what happens if it falls out and you lose it? Or are you buying a painting at a flea market or in a trash can and there is no hanger? What if you stick a painting or decal onto the foam yourself? Since they are jagged, you can easily line up the pattern. The pins are rigid but you can bend…

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
