Grandkids Delight makes a good party favor

Grandkids love to play with them and they are small and fragile enough not to hurt each other. I bought some big strong styrofoam bottles and they fought very hard and the little ones cried. However, they are perfect. Now even a two-year-old can have fun.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • I will add later

Great Quality Safe Fun

Gave them to kids ages 4-13 who participated in JDRF's Type 1 Diabetes Healing Walk on our ninja-themed team. All the kids loved them and many of those who were out came up to us and asked how they could get one. You've been the hottest object so far.

Pros
  • Good Thing
Cons
  • Obsolete Model

Much more powerful than explosive swords that explode.

Much more powerful than inflatable swords that pop out at the end of the party. In fact, everyone managed to return home. Those that didn't go home with the party people even lasted about 8 months. No hardcore so they don't hurt you when you meet them.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Too long to wait

Better than expected

Bought for my son's ninja costume for Halloween. I didn't need 6 of these of course, but having two little boys I wasn't overly concerned about getting that many. They are surprisingly good quality! My boys have fought them, bent them, stepped on them etc and they are ALL still intact. I love that they are strong enough to support my 5 and 3 year olds but soft enough not to cause injury.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Doubtful

Gentle fun for boys! (and girls)

My boys like to play with sticks and pretend to fight with swords or cut grass in the jungle in our yard (e.g. with a machete) . They are much softer than sticks and save us from many accidents! So far they've held up decently for a month when a 3 and a 4 year old roughed them up. One fell apart, but a strong straw held the blade and handle together, and a bit of silicon glue helped.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something

Don't listen to negative reviews. Good product!

Are they cheap? Yes. Are they "durable"? no But how come. for $10 that's $1.67 for a sword! What did you expect?! Excalibur?! There are six of these, enough for each of my kids to have 2, and they're easy to hold, fun to spin, not dangerous, not poisonous or anything. By the way, all my children are under 6 years old. We've had them and swung and slapped them for over a week and all the swords are intact and still fun. The only thing that happens over time is that the blades bend slightly to…

Pros
  • Nice thing
Cons
  • Some flaws

I like it for my 5 year old swordsman

These toys are great! I had to blow some balloons into swords just to survive half a day. My 5 year old son wanted something more permanent so we switched to inflatable swords. They don't stick with any kind of hardcore sword fighting. I've tried them and so far I've only had to open two (for an impromptu sword fight around the house) and they've lasted over a couple of weeks. We even took him on vacation, put him in a suitcase, and he survived. Children can hit or hit themselves hard with them

Pros
  • Pretty
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
