Ideal for toddlers learning to put on their own shoes. My 2.5 year old son loves them too - he's a shoe snob! -- His school asks us to send a pair of rubber-soled "slippers" for the days his shoes get wet, etc. These are great shoes for this age; They help to develop independence and self-confidence. I bought them for my son in the garden for slippers (he is 3.5 years old). A few months after I bought them, he started arguing with me because I would wear them when we moved to kindergarten.
