Celestee is the lame duck in the Focal range

Visually beautiful new Focal headphones The Celestee can't keep up between the Elegia and Radiance in terms of sound either. At $1,000 they were bright but lacked real depth so they are a thing of the past.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Not bad

Not what I was looking for

This is not a fair review. I had it for about 45 minutes. Let's start with the bass. Bass exists, that's all I can say. It has no depth or punch. That takes away the joy of music. The singing sounded almost distorted. Anyone who says they are bright is completely wrong. These are very warm headphones. The sound stage does not exist. The sound is only in your head. I have no idea how much to spend to get the sound I'm looking for. It can take years. Not recommended.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and chunky

VERY comfortable headphones. If you like comfort, try these headphones. Secondly, the overall sound is quite balanced, clear and powerful. In my opinion, the bass is just a bit lacking…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers

Much improvement over Elegia

I've had my Celestee for a little over a month. The first thing that struck me was how much better the pads seal. The material feels very comfortable. The headband has a nicer suede material covering the bottom of the headband compared to the Elegia. The design and comfort are a step up from the Elegia. Also, the Celestee cables aren't as uncompromisingly stiff as the fabric-wrapped Elegia and Clear cables, but unfortunately they still retain that rigid, curved shape. The wearing comfort is…

  • Finally bought it

I've never heard anything like it.

I have been working as a musician for a long time. Has been playing professionally for 36 years. As someone who becomes a chef because he loves to eat, I decided to become a musician because I love listening to music. And as you embark on this adventure, you quickly realize that the difference in getting a job or not is in the details. Your attention to detail will help you land that elusive paying job. That was the introduction to this review. And now I'll tell you a secret: 75% of my salary…
