This is as cheap flimsy product. The joint doesn't lock. the gripper part metal is so flimsy that I picked up one empty, soda plastic bottle and it bent the tension piece that is like a cheap thin aluminum. For get about grabbing a can or box off a shelf with it.Pick up small things? nope.Pick up paper, can't unless it is wrinkled or something.I bought one using the exact same mechanics, at a local store that was better built and worth the price here for one.

I like the folding handle- that’s why I bought it. But the button that locks it in place is hard to push in & doesn’t stay locked very well. I bought 4 & one was broken when received.

This product works as advertised. Only wish it had a lock function for those rare occasions when one must haul what has been grabbed a bit of a distance without having to keep a tight squeeze on the handle.

Great for getting the curtains closed. Like the ability to lock it closed so I don't have to keep squeezing the trigger. Well if they wouldnt break after 2 months It would be a great product.

Piece of crap. Broke on first use picking up a cell phone from the floor. Being in a wheel chair, this is especially unacceptable.

It was fine but I wish it.didnt fold. It already Is short enoug, so why add tgis feature that is hard to use? That's my review!

It works great folds up and is easy to put away and get to easy. Helpful to pick up trash and stuff off the ground makes keeping the ground and trash cans much easier!

Very Short and built poorly. Do yourself a favour and spend a little more for a more substantial Grabber, They actually stuffed 2 of these little Grabbers in my Mailbox.

The floor is farther away than it was when I was young (unless a trip). Picking small items up off the floor is easy with this grabbing tool. I have several, one in each room.

I am constantly amazed how it can pick up the smallest thing. The suction is great! I’m always dropping things so it’s been a fantastic tool to use

This is the worse gripper I have ever bought. It's light weight and flimsy. The arm wiggles side to side when locked into place. The suction cups feel like plastic not rubber and do not grip well. The lock button broke after one use picking up empty dog food bowls.Don't waste your money.

I brought this item because I had ordered it from another company a year ago, but this was the worst mistake I made in a while. It is very difficult to lock it after unfolding and it keeps locking up when trying to pick up something from the floor. I am a Quad with MS and I needed this device to reach items and pick up things that drop. I am very grieved over this product since it has failed me I bought the double pack, so it's double trouble. Very sadden!😢

Due to my bad back, I keep a grabber in every room so as not to have to bend down to pick things up. These will do that okay, but the materials and construction are definitely not first quality. I would not dare try to grab anything from a shelf with one, unlike heavier-duty grabbers I have had in the past.

Does the job, but very weak. Do not expect to pick up anything that has any weight to it. Would not pick up a hair brush, but picks up pine cones fine, and that is the reason for getting it.

These grabbers work well to pick up small light weight items, but not heavy duty enough to pick up a small bottle with any weight to it. I use it in my sewing room where it works well.

Intentionally avoided the folding grippers thinking they would have more parts to break. But for the price I took the risk. Unfortunately, I was right- in the first day of use the plastic locking button broke off. I did love that it is the light weight and that you could lock the suctions closed. But it would be better if it doesnt fold.

I have bought this style for years and these are junk. The grab function does not pick up well. The grab cups are riveted in rather than screws and will not stay unfolded. If you ever owned the original style you will not like these. Don't waste your money.

The design on this is completely messed up, I hope the picture explains what I'm saying.When you pinch down on something, it just collapses. The suction cups don't engage at all.They need to just take it off the shelves until they fix it.It simply DOES NOT WORK.

Good price, very lightweight. I didn't like that the button sticks every time you squeeze it. I also couldn't completely close it back to the way it was once they were opened.
