No problem - kitchen and dining room

I have bought these bags many times and have never had a problem with them leaking. Others who say they need to be soldered 2 or 3 times should look at your machine to make sure the sealing tape is warm enough. I will continue to buy these packs. Update: These new packs are made of thinner material than me. Be skeptical about how they will hold up. I've had thicker bags that lose the vacuum when they hit something just right.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Broadly ok but...

Another great product!

I love FoodSaver. I love my car, I love bags and wheels. I've tried other brands of reels and bags and they just aren't the same. The FoodSaver's plastic somehow hugs the food better AND it doesn't "cut" as much in the freezer. I figured GameSaver Buns would be better for non-perishable foods or foods I'm packing for sous vide cooking. From the freezer to the water. The plastic is thicker and so far so good!

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Nothing

Not 8 x 11 as advertised, bags smaller than 8 x 10

These quart play bags are charged extra because a FoodSaver representative states in the FAQ section of the description that the bag sizes are 8 x 11 inches, NO . These bags are 8" x 10" just like regular grocery bags. It looks like grocery products made the product cheaper by making the bags 1 inch smaller, multiply that by 44 bags per box and you can clearly see why grocery products are hiding this new smaller size from you. .

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Running

Not as easy as it looks

I love my vacuum sealer and bags but it can be a nuisance at times. I have to reseal several times to make sure the seal is complete otherwise the integrity of the packaging will be damaged when it appeared sealed. Not enough to get the contents out, but definitely enough to get some air in. I end up hitting the seal button two or three times to make sure the bag hasn't lost its vacuum seal. It's still worth it, but it's annoying and takes longer than it should.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • So-so

Everyone needs a food keeper.

My Foodsaver will be the smartest purchase I've ever made because Deep State bureaucrats have installed incompetent Free Spending Democrats that will fuel runaway inflation. Unfortunately, the steak I buy now at $8 a pound, vacuum sealed with my machine and frozen will only be delicious for a maximum of two years, which at that point would probably cost $50 a pound to replace once I've had it have eaten. Thanks to the "green" religion followers, I'm happy if it's natural and not made in Bill…

Pros
  • All Positives
Cons
  • Poorly Thought

Nice bags, but are they worth the extra money?

We have a vacuum sealer that we use to store small portions of meat in bulk and to seal fresh and filleted fish. After seeing them advertised as 'game savers' I thought they were perfect for our fish but it was very hard for me to say they work better than 'regular' vacuum pack bags. Without using a micrometer to accurately measure the thickness of the bag, I just had to do what the bag felt like. The bag seemed a bit thicker and will probably hold up better over time, but what really needed to

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • I'm worried
