Contour Casual Golf Shoes for Men by FootJoy Review

This is the second pair of this brand for my husband. He loves it very much! He has a medium foot but he has bad bones so he always buys wide feet. The FootJoy brand sits on it well and the heel does not slip. He put them on two days after they arrived, played 18 holes and said they were perfectly comfortable. He recommends them to everyone.

These are great looking shoes and I really like the color combo, love the orange laces but if you don't like orange there are a pair of brown ones. The main skin of the shoe is suede, so I applied a liberal coat of protective spray to the shoes before putting them on. The shoes are very well made and for me the FJ shoes are very comfortable.

A few years ago Foot Joy launched the excellent Contour. - Leather upper, waterproof and comfortable. The current shoe is a cheap version of the previous one - no sole support and poor quality. Not worth $100. Not to be expected from a Foot Joy product. We have been a Footjoy customer for many years. Now I'm going to look at other brands.

Very comfortable overall for shoes. I have worn several old style contours for many years. I need a narrow paragraph in it. My only criticism of the new style is the laces. This is a round polyester material. They are a bit slippery. They stretch well but tend to come loose once or twice during a round of golf, even after I've pulled as hard as I can while tying them down. I may have to opt for a second knot or replace them with flat laces.

I just put my Contours on for the first time after 18 holes on a hilly trail and they couldn't be more comfortable! I have very wide feet (I wear New Balance 4Ws) and the Extra Wide size was just right. The shoes seem to have gotten a bit longer as I had to return my normal 8.5 and got an 8. When I received these shoes, I looked at the toe height and thought they might be a bit small. I put them on 9 holes of golf and they fit better than I thought. You seem to be quite comfortable. Another thing I was concerned about when ordering was that the pictures online looked a lot more orange than I would have liked, but when I took them out of the box they were a much calmer tan. Overall very comfortable shoes. You are easy to come full circle. Living in a humid area, they have a lot more grip than I would have thought for a golf shoe without cleats. Excellent lateral support. Feel like I have a solid base from the shoe sole pattern. In any case, after a refreshment you end up on the lawn.
