FootJoy Mens Contour Shoes Charcoal Review

Straight out of the box these shoes fit like a glove. Light and beautiful shoes. If I could find them in my size in a different color I would buy another pair!

The shoes feel comfortable. I love how easy it is to buckle them up while playing golf. My only criticism would be the clamping system. I wish the shoes stayed a little more comfortable for longer. As soon as I put my shoes on neatly. I feel a bit like a loser in shoes.

This model/boa and shoe style is just a great pair of shoes. I wish I had street shoes like that. High quality stretchy leather. Flexible outsole. The spikes don't put any strain on the big toe like my original and more expensive Footjoy.

This shoe is comfortable (note: FJ models run a full size larger), especially for walkers, but the laceless BOA system is not designed for a 190lb swing speed /Swing suitable for golfers 100 miles per hour or more. The BOA system tends to open on impact in both shoes and also when walking on rough terrain. Had to send it back after the first round to get a refund.

I've been wearing them for about 5 rounds of golf. They are very comfortable as you would expect from Footjoy. The Boa system takes some getting used to and I hope it lasts. Because if one of those wires/cables breaks, it seems like they really can't be fixed. The upper is synthetic. Let's see how the black paint/finish/finish holds up after a year of wear in the sun and inclement weather.

my size is 8xw and this shoe fits perfectly. The boa constrictor will loosen up a bit from time to time - it's okay, just reach out and pull up. The skin looks really great. I really like these shoes a lot. I ordered an 8 1/2 XW but sent it back as it was lost. My actual shoe size is 8 XW so I ordered them in that size and I'm glad I did - they are perfect even for thick socks! Book them you won't be disappointed.

. Maybe it's shrinking too fast. I've worn it in the wet grass and my socks were dry so the waterproofing is top notch for this brand. I really like the boa constrictor to close your system. Maybe I should have started riding and walking a bit before attempting 18 holes in a brand new pair of shoes.

I have worn Footjoy golf shoes for 25 years. I was excited to get them with the BOA lacing system this year. Unfortunately, the loop fell apart the first time I put it on. The only thing worse was the Amazon service when I asked about the cure. I was told sorry you are outside the playback window. Pretty terrible service for a clearly defective product. No advice on contacting footjoy, no information on additional protective measures. Thanks for the $150, we can't help you.

I've never bought FJ shoes, I took a chance a men's size 11-1/2 would fit as would my adidas. However, they are too big and do not accept returns. I did nine holes and found I didn't like the Boa twist system on the back of the heel (instead of the top and one side of the shoe like my Adidas. For old folks with bad backs, the Boa system wobbles though are these shoes hard to come by I think they will be ok if you are in a cart but I don't drive. They are waterproof for morning walks.
