Great value for money for this kit

Inexpensive gear. I knew nothing off the shelf would fit so I bought them, sewed them together and voila, they work! The helmet works too! A moderate branch fell on my head and the helmet provided excellent protection. I felled a 35 foot tree in this suit. I will use braces next time. Due to my stature, I have to constantly adjust the belt.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Not sure

Very good kit for the money

I wanted a protection kit like this when pruning/trimming. We export more than a dozen a year at home and I've been without protection for over 40 years. I realized that my luck was running out. The hat fits well, the headphones do their job well. The hood protected my glasses. However, I do need to add some heavy pull-ups to the pieces since I have to pull them up all the time. Very important.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Hard to tell

If you're on the fence about this, get off it and buy it.

Bought with a chainsaw for safety reasons. I love the extra layer of protection on my legs with the pants guards and the helmet with noise canceling earmuffs is just great! Since I have many branches/thorns/etc. worked, the helmet was appreciated for both my head and face. I'm glad I spent the money on it, it was worth it.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Not as good as it says

A close comparison with Stihl protective gear

I have a friend who spent about $200 on name brand protective gear for everything I bought here. Comparing them side by side, it's hard to say why this stuff costs nearly three times as much. His guys are noticeably higher quality, but going from no friends to these guys will please most people. The helmet is great and comfortable and the ear protection does a great job. I am happy with my purchase!

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

If you're like me, a country boy who cuts 100 wires a year.

35 years chopping wood. I have never worn any protection other than my leather cowboy pants. I started wearing this gear and by the end of the day I can hear. My eyes aren't clogged with dust, so I can see now. If you're like me, a country boy cutting 100 wires a year on a ranch. Too bad I wouldn't be that dad. My hearing and sight would be much better. Good products. I just pray I never see how good boys are.

Pros
  • holding fists
Cons
  • empty

Ideal for the average homeowner

If you're a professional lumberjack, you already know where to get your elite gear. And the rest, if we mere mortals, this kit fits perfectly. It has everything you need for your security. The helmet is quite comfortable. You can see clearly through the faceplate, but it doesn't let wood chips through. And the hearing protection works quite well. The chaps fit well and have a good pocket big enough for 1 or 2 small chocks. Very comfortable. Overall unbeatable for the price.

Pros
  • Complete Kit
Cons
  • High Price
