The formula I use foams too much so I tried swirling the bottle instead of shaking it. I found that the formula didn't fully dissolve in the process and the nipple became clogged. Using these miniature mixing balls helps break up the formula when I shake the bottle without causing foam.

They are so good for blending even though they don't fit in the dr brown bottles I use. I've found cheaper bottles that they fit in. It's generally difficult to get all the lumps out, but it's a lot quicker with shaker balls and I don't have to kill my hands from shaking and shaking. I love her!

Was asked if you can use them with standard Dr.Brown bottles, yes. You can't just drop it, you have to press it with your finger, and to pull it out when you're cleaning the bottle, just shake it well and it comes out just enough for you to pick up with your fingers. You can't leave the shaker in the bottle when using a Dr.Brown colic vent tube, neither are good for getting around this.
