I'm a female - these are male readers. These are the widest readers I could find. Both the width of the face and the length of the temples ("legs") are too short, but I can wear them for computer work without getting a huge headache. I prefer tortoise shell - prettier with my red hair - but they are no longer made.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Looks great but breaks too often

These Boston glasses from Foster Grant suit my style. My wife thinks they make me look extra pretty which makes me wear them more often than I should. The only problem is that they're pretty cheaply made and tend to break. Overall I believe these glasses will last 1 to 2 months before breaking. It's worth noting that they almost always break in the same place, i.e. the hinge on the left or right. Side. It's very predictable and I can almost guess when it's supposed to happen. I love the look…

I was blessed with good eyesight, then I turned 40, and over the next year I noticed that I had a headache reading it and had to move the book closer. A friend mentioned that it's probably time for reading glasses. So I went to the optician. She also said that I only need reading glasses and let me know which glasses to get. She also suggested the Foster Grant brand for consistency and quality. I have
