Weak/cheap frame broke while cleaning

I've had these glasses for about 3 months now. I've never been completely satisfied with a purchase. I bought these glasses because I have other Foster Grant progressive readers that I like. These glasses are more dazzling than others I have. It has something to do with lens coating. I've tried to get used to them but have never been happy wearing them. A few issues with these glasses

I used to have Foster Grant Multifocus reading glasses which I really liked. These are not. Quality: More like the quality you would expect from glasses under $20. Certainly not worth the $30+ price tag. The lenses used were uneven, the hinge mechanism felt cheap, etc. However, quality doesn't play a huge role in this review as it's hard to judge without using it daily for a year or two, which I don't intend to do. AFTER ALL! JACKPOT! for Vision

I have tried 3 or 4 multifocal readers from other brands/vendors with very poor and disappointing results. There were a number of different issues, but most of them were the inaccuracy of the power of the lens chosen for the REALLY poor or almost non-existent 3rd reading level placement.
