Like OEM! - Accessory

These caps fit exactly like the original caps and feature Original branding. There is no need to buy expensive original Canon factory caps as long as they fit exactly the same.

Pros
  • Multiple competitors
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

WILL NOT stay on camera - too loose - returned

The cover did not stay on my Ricoh GR III. It also seems designed for a friction fit, but it's too big for that. I returned it. I do not recommend.

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Great hat - like the original - maybe better.

fits perfectly. It has a strap with an elastic band to attach to the lens and an adhesive pad to attach the cap to the strap. Looks solid and works great.

Pros
  • beautiful thing
Cons
  • there are nuances

Will not fit Canon 24mm Tilt-Shift or 72mm Hoya cpl

Product will not stay on my Canon ts24mmL with or without Hoya filter. The slightest hit and it will burst instantly. I didn't have this problem with the original glass until I lost it.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Problem

Doesn't work with filters!

Lid won't stay on! So annoying! Works great without a filter but the purpose of the filter is to protect my investment in my lens! I'd rather have a filter than a lens cap. You can not help it!

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Some problems

Every time I turned on the Ricoh GR III this relatively expensive lens cap fell off. The last time I saw my lens cap was when it silently flew off the grass, which I didn't even know at the time. Anyway, my Ricoh GR III looks just as good because it no longer has that non-genuine lens cap. I won't change my hat.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Can't remember

Not suitable if you use filters

I usually use a circular polarizer with my lenses. I recently purchased this cap and a replacement 72mm polarizer because my previous one came loose and fell behind the seat of a rental car in India. I bought a pretty good quality polarizer from B&H but this cap just won't stay on. The slightest blow knocks him down. My new polarizer already has a scratch from a non-protective case. Too bad I made the mistake of believing the good reviews and bought two more 58mm caps.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Some difficulties
