Excellent product, best light controls and modifiers

Amazing product. I have heard great stories and have always had doubts about products because there are so many bad things. This is a great soft box. Easy to set up. It came in a great, well made case. Some reviewers said it's difficult to open. Well yes it is. This is not a cheap umbrella. turn it around Put it on the floor. Press center down and snap into place. Do the reverse to close. They forgot that they forgot. Bowens adapter when mine was shipped. I called Revain and they fixed the…

Great Modifier: Lighting and Studio

I love this thing! I really want the Broncolor Para 88 but I can't afford the $3400 price tag. I use a beauty dish for most of my portrait work, but I wanted to try something different. I use one of the FotoDiox cymbal washers on the center bridge to mimic the look of the Broncolor Para 88. Recommended for anyone who shoots…

Was hoping for a simpler process

After reading some pretty good reviews of this "quick change softbox" I pulled the trigger and ordered the 48 inch version. You need to assemble the Bowens mount with a screwdriver (NO INSTRUCTIONS) but it was easy enough. If you're having trouble, there's a YouTube video that shows you how to assemble the mount. A padded bag for transporting the softbox when folded is also included. So far, so good. But here's the problem (at least for me). Opening the softbox should be as easy as sliding down

FOTODIOX EZ-PRO ROCKS

An excellent product if you need a softbox. After spending hours searching online for a softbox that doesn't require LEGO village building time, fumbling with poles everywhere, building something on site under stress, like a parent building a kid's bike the night before Christmas, you're wondering WHY? WHY ? before you can take your first picture and pay an arm and a leg for it. I found this beauty on AMAZON. This ROCKS thing is the best, just lay it on the ground, push down like an umbrella to
