Based on my observations, this digital tachometer is not worth the money. While it may measure engine RPM, it struggles to provide accurate readings and frequently becomes unresponsive. The only pro I can say is that it is easy to install. However, the cons definitely outweigh it. It's unreliable and not precise enough for serious snowmobilers or DIY mechanics. Look elsewhere for a better option.

I used this to read and correct the RPM on my Honda lawn mower. Adding 500 rpm to reach the advertised 3000 rpm improved the quality of the mulch.

What I liked was the length of all the wires. It was easy for me to escape the heat. Route the cables under the engine cover. I secured it with heavy duty external velcro. I tied the white wire tightly to the ground stud on the motor. I wrapped the red wire around the wire attached to the spark plug five times.
