Four Seasons 84707 Maintenance Shut-Off Valve Review

I installed this heater control valve and it immediately flows poorly through the valve stem. In order for Revain to return it, I have to take the car out of service to return the entire $14 portion and lose all the antifreeze. No thank you. save your money This item is Chinese junk.

I bought two of these. Both flow through the valve stem and are useless. I'm no expert on valves, but perhaps a good quality check for a Chinese manufacturer would be to run some water through them to see if they're leaking. The ones I received were in boxes labeled Four Seasons.

First, two different photos are used to describe this product. It is actually a 3/4 connection, not a 5/8 inch. So it will not fit 1953 Chevrolet and probably not 1947-1954 vehicles as all of those trucks use a 5/8" hose to connect. to the heater core. Also, mine looked like it was made by drunk Chinese factory workers. The valve handle was poorly attached and was curved in two dimensions rather than perpendicular to the post.
