Not fully sealed

I like these. In fact, there is still a tiny gap in the salt cap. I tried adjusting the little spring to help and the tiny pins on the lid matched perfectly, but when closed I'm still a bit uneasy about my ant problem. The pepper is hermetically sealed.

Pros
  • salt and pepper
Cons
  • boring packaging

Great Moisture Shakers

I bought these shakers to use on our lake where humidity levels tend to be high. They don't work, but there's no need to hold the shakers open during use, making it easier for older, arthritic hands to work. just love it! However, keep in mind that they are rather small.

Pros
  • Kitchen Tools & Gadgets
Cons
  • Expensive

OK, with some caveats!

I had to return them. There are a few things to keep in mind when considering buying one. The lid opens and closes with a small light spring. I don't know how well it will hold up as it seems fragile. Also, it's not strong enough to fully close the lids every time. They are 2 3/4 inches, not 3 inches. I'm not picky, but they ended up being too small for what I wanted.3. If you're using anything other than finely ground Morton's salt, the holes won't be large enough for the salt to pass through.

Pros
  • Saltcellars
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
