Better than expected

After reading other reviews I didn't expect this hammock net to be so strong. I figured I had to be very careful packing and unpacking, especially when half asleep. Not so. I was pretty rough with him, especially going in and out in the dark, and he behaved well. Too bad I couldn't photograph all the bugs he didn't let in as they all hung on the bottom of my raincoat while I read before bed. I'm very happy with this purchase, especially since it's half the price of more well-known brands!

Repels mosquitoes.

I have a full size double hammock and this product covers the entire unit. This protected me from mosquitoes at night when I was in the border water canoeing area of northeast Minnesota where mosquitoes and horseflies are the worst. The side zip provides easy access to the hammock, while the closed design keeps mosquitoes out from both the top and bottom. The ends of the net are folded around tree hangers to prevent mosquitoes from gaining access to the inside of the net. I would buy this item…

bug removed! on hammocks

I bought this to use with my Kammok Roo Double XL hammock because of its size (my hammock) and also because I was planning to camp in Wintah and was told mosquitoes were more likely Poorly. They were bad, and this net allowed me to sleep in a hammock all night without a single bite! This item has a very fair price. Competing offers cost around $80! My only complaint is that it's too heavy and bulky for hiking (as is my Roo Double XL hammock) so I'll use it when I'm camping and looking for a…

Extremely impressed!

I bought another brand (WOO) first and was appalled at the quality of the insect screen. It was much cheaper and much better made. I examined it carefully and didn't find a single loose thread or bad stitching. The screen material looks and feels quite durable and I believe it will hold up for years of use. Premium zipper, lightweight and durable. The attached bag for belongings is of a much better quality than I expected, it looks like some kind of seal nylon. There is more than enough burr…

Hooray, no bug bites! on hammocks

This net is a real find. After purchasing a Foxelli hammock and tree straps I knew bug nets would be a good investment from them after getting many bug bites. The mesh is high quality and keeps bugs out while still being wind permeable (it's light enough to move in the wind) and the stitching is the same as other products. Since I received this, there have been no more bug bites, so I'm satisfied! The only thing I don't like about it is the ridge line, but that's a personal issue - not being…

Spring nap on the porch from mosquitoes

In spring and autumn, I like to take a nap in the fresh air under the cool breeze, it's my favorite pastime. I live in the South, and some people here in Louisiana consider mosquitoes our state bird, nothing against pelicans, although it's easy to be wrong. The net seems solid and holds up when I have the top line up and the bottom line stretched (I'm a big guy). As it mostly holds on to the top strap it just sank when I got in but the hammock didn't feel right to me and I saw the top was tight

Nice long net for a long hammock

This net fits perfectly on my 12ft Dutchware hammock. There is enough length on the ends that gather and stay closed. Vertical zippers are easy to use. It would be nice to get more mesh material to get a little more "space" in the hammock. That's the only downside I see for him. There are several clips along the top seam for attachment to the ridge. I have a spinal fracture on my hammock and flipping the net over was easy and the clips attach easily to it now. This keeps the grid more centered…

Immediately compared with my current insect net

I already had an insect net with which I was satisfied. I bought this mosquito net for 3 reasons: incredibly good price, lighter advertised weight and I already had several Foxelli Daisy Chain hammock suspension straps from a previous store and was happy with their quality. flashlight, warranty card and thank you card included free of charge, as well as a weighed mosquito net with backs in the attached storage bag. My scale read 15.0 ounces, which is even better than I was hoping for. My…
