I bought this for the annual service on my 2006 Arctic Cat 500 4x4. I changed the oil and oil filter. It was the perfect match.

Ordering 2 of these filters for my husband and son on their bikes they turned out to be the perfect filters for them. Never sure when you order motorcycle stuff for her online.

It's hard to consider this type of product. It just fits well. Very easy to install. I don't have a chance to test its performance but I would buy it again based on its price. I will since I change the oil every 3,000 miles.

Suzuki k&n138 Motorcycle Oil Filter vs Frame has real gasket. K&n has a stupid nut on the filter that breaks when you take it on and off. The frame has regular grooves at the top and I use a cap filter wrench that will never fall off.

Don't let the naysayers tell you the Fram filter is bad. I have used them in cars that have driven over 150,000 miles with no problems. I have used this PH6018 on two different Suzuki V-strom 1000 bikes and have put over 50,000 miles on each with no problems. The bikes worked like new when they were sold.

Who knows if this thing will clean oil or blow up your engine. I wouldn't know. Unfortunately we had an oil change accident and the unit was crushed to death. It was that good old fat and big girl named *Big Bertha** that put an end to that filter. I was very hesitant to buy this filter as other reviews said it dented easily but I didn't seem to have that problem. Maybe other users applied too much force? I do not know. I made sure the gasket was properly oiled before installing it, screwed it in until it touched the metal, and applied the extra turn recommended by the packaging.
