Apply the tape as it should be done. The twisted thread to make the handle holds just right and you get two 30 yard rolls for the price. Good.

I would say that a small tear is a bit exaggerated. Once you start it's easy to tear, but it took a little bit of teeth tearing. Other than that, this Franklin Sports hockey tape works just like any other hockey tape I've used. The only place I had trouble with it was in my socks, but that's a common thing. Overall not bad!

I know this tape is for hockey sticks and watching hockey as a kid gave me the idea to use this technique in other areas of my life. I use the standard lollipop wrapping process on the ends of the wooden rake handles to keep my hands from slipping off the end. When wearing heavy work gloves, my hands often fell off the end of the rake. After applying this tape, this was no longer a problem. I recommend trying it.

High performance hockey tape. It's easy to use and comes off the reel well but stays on the stick. It can be torn off without scissors, making it easy to roll up the stick again on the go. I also prefer to use hockey tape at home because it's easy to use and durable. White tends to get dirty so that's the only downside, but it needs to be replaced before it gets too bad. Great tape and nice to get two packs.

This ice hockey tape from Franklin Sport doesn't quite live up to its promise.1. The tape does not tear easily. I tried to break it with my hands, I tried, I tried, but I couldn't. (See my photo.) 2.
