I've had this bowl for over 4 years and it's still my favorite! It's made of soft, flexible, food-grade silicone and the edges are designed in the shape of milk squirts. It's large and holds a large cereal bowl. My son also uses it occasionally to make ramen noodles and so far I haven't had any stains, although I avoid putting tomato-based products in this bowl. UPDATE: One of the wavy milk splatters has snapped. It has only been used by adults with careful handling. I am so disappointed because my return window expired two days ago. I'm hoping to get in touch with the manufacturer and see if they do an exchange as a month of use sounds like a legitimate reason for a return. Although I really like these bowls!
