Great thin coat, didn't like the lining

I was looking for a thin/light jacket for moderate autumn temperatures for my son until it was time for a winter coat. The coat was exactly what I was looking for in terms of weight, but I was disappointed with the nature of the material of the inner lining - it's like a flat 'fleece' of felt that everything sticks to, especially our 2nd daughter's hair yellow labradors - as it was, and came with all the fluff, already brand new. Switch to a different coat.

  • This is exactly what I was looking for. Beautiful autumn/spring coat.

  • The size may not be ideal for all little boys, causing discomfort and restricted movement.

NO WINTER JACKET

Was very disappointed with this jacket, it is waterproof and has a nice material on the outside but is advertised as a winter jacket and for $70 you would expect more at first. This coat is very thin, more like a spring jacket, a raincoat, well, not warm enough for any weather below 50 degrees, there is no insulation in the coat at all. I thought we got a good deal off the tee but the picture is deceptive.

Not quite a winter coat

It's just a shell. It comes without lining. I don't seem to read the fine print. One winter is definitely not enough warmth.

but due to the windbreaker-like material on the outside, it kind of holds up my boys.

The material is very thin, but the windcheater-like material makes my boys really warm on the outside. Bought 2 pieces in different sizes

  • grandson likes it. Perfect for Northern California winters. I just hope he can use it to protect him from many downpours.

  • The combination of red and lead colors may not appeal to all little boys and their personal style preferences, resulting in reduced usage and satisfaction.

Nothing for the winter - my new rating

Oh, if I had read the reviews before buying it! We live in Duluth, Minnesota, this is by no means a winter jacket. May be in spring. The material is good but there is no lining inside. Basically it is a warmer rain jacket.

Excellent thin coat, didn't like the lining
