Good quality but doesn't work for me

I bought to use my Mac SSD but the SSD overheated to the limit in this case. The SSD failed several times. The SSD worked fine in the MAC with no heat issues, but in the case the SSD overheated after a few minutes and caused a crash. I tried not even putting the cover on the SSD but the SSD has reached its maximum temperature. I returned the item for another option that worked fine.

Superb SSD Enclosure

This SSD Enclosure fits my original 2015 MBP perfectly. Because the quality is so high I have the perfect backup device and save all my original files from my laptop before upgrading to a 1TB SSD. It was so easy to use that I didn't need to call on tech support, but I thought it would be great given the care and effort that went into the design and quality of the case. I will look for other products from this company and I am sure they will be great.

Works with MacBook Pro SSD Early 2015

Upgraded 2015 MacBook Pro 13" Hard Drive. This enclosure housed the Apple SSD that I had removed and transferred data to the new hard drive after installing OS X. Worked like a champ. No problem. Sturdy and smooth case body. Two nitpicks, 1 the bezel is a little fiddly, it would be nice if it was fixed to the board and pops out as a whole rather than screwing it down, 2 not a fan of SDD support with an installed HDD. be better supported. It's solid, but I'd feel better if more than just the two

Lifeguard!: Hard Drive Accessories

I have a 13" Macbook Pro from early 2015 with a defective SSD slot on the motherboard. Instead of replacing the board, I decided to take this case and an external boot drive to operate. It only took me a few minutes to assemble and everything was fine. Now my old Macbook looks like it's alive. It's not the best thing in the world but I'm fine with it because it works.

Updated MacBook Pro 13" Hard Drive Early 2015. This enclosure was used to hold the Apple SSD I removed and data after installing OS X on it to transfer the new disk. Works like a champ. No problem. The body is strong and smooth. Two cons: 1. The front panel is a bit cumbersome. It would be nice if it were attached to the circuit board and pulled out as a unit instead of screwed in. 2.
