Better than I expected for the price

Given the low price of this unit, I didn't have high expectations. I have about 350 feet of west rail fence that I want to attach wire fencing to. I got about 50 feet today and I have to say this device works great. I use 7/8 inch staples (the largest staples this machine accepts). They are easy to load and with my compressor's 75psi pressure I get the perfect stapling depth. If that's enough for the whole job, it'll cost less than $100.

Pros
  • One-piece force gauge for longer tool life
Cons
  • Legacy model

Lots of jams in power tools

This stapler gets caught at the end of almost EVERY row of staples. I use 3/8" Freeman staples because they're the only ones I can find. If the stapler works then everything is fine, but sometimes the jam at the end of each row of staples is so severe that other tools are required to clear it. If it doesn't close completely when you add more staples, there is a loose staple somewhere that needs to be removed. Wear safety goggles as they can throw off a piece of the cut braces. I ran it to the…

Pros
  • The anodized aluminum barrel and magazine are durable, lightweight tools that are great for long-term use.
Cons
  • Expensive

Worth the money Good for construction staplers

Real view. I bought it to build a chicken coop. Using field fencing where I usually use and staple. So I figured why not try it and if it doesn't work just send it back. Because I already had everything I needed to get started right away. He came on Wednesday and I started on Saturday. I finished a 16x20 chicken coop that is 6 feet tall. A little less than 5 hours. And it would take a tornado to destroy it. About 1800 staples. No traffic jams or dropouts. I wrote to a friend and told him not to

Pros
  • Quick release allows easy access to drive blade when fasteners get stuck
Cons
  • Could have gone for a newer model
