Listen to other reviewers, order a size up! When we received the shirts it turned out that she had room to grow (I bought a size up). After washing, judging by the label, they sat down! Fits her well but she wears 4 in other dresses and size S/6 fits her perfectly in these shirts. The colors (red and navy blue) hold up well and won't shrink after the first wash. I love the shirts and would order a size up again.

To be honest I wouldn't buy this top again for the sole reason that I don't like that the navy blue and red stripes are visible when worn - The collar falls off naturally if the first button is left undone and the stripes are visible. If that doesn't bother you, this is a quality shirt. The fabric is of good quality, breathable, easy to wash, stains are not visible after weekly washing in summer. These are great DURABLE uniform shirts for my 4 year old in kindergarten. She is very active and comes home every day with paint, dirt and food all over her shirts. Washed several times, no signs of wear or scratches. She is 38 pounds and about 40 inches tall and I have ordered 6x. The 6x has a bit more leeway, but it still has an individual feel.
