My daughter is 85% tall and 45% heavy making her quite long and thin. I've always ordered this brand a size up because it's very thin and I'm afraid it will shrink in the wash. However, I ordered a size up and it fit exactly as I expected, meaning it was a bit big. The fabric is a bit thin so I wouldn't recommend wearing it without a tank top unless it goes under a sweater.
