Good but runs small

Love the feel and look of this shirt on my 4 year old. He's average height/weight for his age in the 50th percentile for both and I think the shirt is a bit short but nothing we couldn't manage. If your child is too heavy for their age I would increase the size. My son is a green bean and fits perfectly but if he had meat it would be too tight. Overall great shirt, washed and dried well, would buy again just a size up.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

I love t-shirts from this brand! They hold up incredibly well and are super soft! My son is 3 but closer to the size of a 4-5 year old. He is very tall, and his height and weight are very proportionate. So just for size we always bought 1-3 sizes up but I would say that shouldn't be the case for the average kid. I think I should say that the size chart is very accurate! Do not buy by age, but by parameters. I have a niece who is 3 months younger than my son and she will match her age or lessโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Little things

I recently bought several (more than 8 colors) of these t-shirts for my young son and they wash well. I bought a size up after reading other reviews and I agree that they run small - at least compared to Gymboree, which is the brand I buy most often. If you're familiar with Children's Place measurements, French toast tops are likely a comparable size. I don't think they're as small as the basic Old Navy t-shirts I've seen in the last year or two. I'm impressed with their uniform size and howโ€ฆ
