I bought my daughter her normal size 6 and they are huge! My friend also bought a pair for her daughter and again too big! Definitely recommend downsizing! Otherwise, a great skirt made the school!

The fabric is cool. Not cotton or polly as you would expect from a school uniform. Almost feels like a rubber training fabric. Needless to say my 6 year old touched the fabric and didn't even want to try it on. I'm sending it back and trying a different style. However, it looks like the picture and length will be good, the stitching looks solid. Only the skirt is not for us.

I ordered this for my daughter to wear to her private school which does not require a uniform but more modest attire. First off it's a really cute and quite timeless style and I'm excited to order in navy blue. Secondly, listen to the reviews that say it runs too big and order AT LEAST 1 size down (maybe more)! The 6X I ordered is huge and although I've never returned anything like this to Best Buy before, I have to bite the bullet and do it because it probably won't fit my little one for 2+…

I don't like the thin structure of this material. Feels like slippery material. I figured I'd take the sturdy jersey skirt French toasts usually wear, with pleats. It came at the right time. It's very difficult to determine what you're getting: a durable skirt or this shapeless creation.

The material is more reminiscent of sports trousers than the typical uniform fabric. The elastic back of the skirt looked cheap. I like the french toast brand but I will be returning it tomorrow. Pooh!

They are beautifully soft but incredibly durable. My daughter has sensory issues so finding tight shorts to wear is a challenge. They feel pleasantly soft, but still hold incredibly well. She has had a pair for two years now and they still look brand new. What great value!

Fits a little big but I like the elastic! I bought 2, one for my 5 year old and one for my 4 year old. It's a bit big on both but with the shirt tucked in it stays fine on the 5 year old. I have some sewing skills but not really a lot, I just did a few stitches on both sides of my 4 year old skirt and now it's holding up great!
