As a result of my tests, I determined that this console furniture is a perfect fit for any room that needs character. Its sleek design offers ample storage space that keeps your living room tidy. Beautiful table. The color is definitely closer to black than red, even in the sun it looks black. The central drawer opens and closes with no problems (now this is a key point). As far as I remember, assembly was quick. There was some paint damage as the leg was sticking out of the box on arrival. Maybe not the most durable table but I think most will use it for decoration. Very cheaply made and when I got mine it had LOTS of manufacturing defects! That's why there were multiple linear fractures on all legs and a chip on one. When the screws were installed on the legs at the top of the MFG they were placed at an angle which made the legs not straight and also made them appear crooked and uneven in relation to the floor.
