I'm a fan! It dries very quickly on hands leaving a nice, slightly chalky finish. It smells like hand sanitizer, which is oddly comforting. I can not explain. For some reason my hands sweat a lot so spreading the chalk more slowly helps me. I can't use it alone because, as I said, my hands get too sweaty when climbing. I only gave four stars because it doesn't last very long, but I think it has more to do with me than the product.

Ideal for indoor climbing and definitely gymnastics (prevents dirt and waste and is much more hygienic). I've just gotten into indoor climbing and I'm totally amazed that when you get dressed you can't even see the chalk, but wait 10 seconds and your hands are properly chalked. Pretty solid material but not my favorite. It takes about a minute and a half to dry, which doesn't sound like much, but it feels sooooo long compared to the first version of Friction Labs' Secret Material, which only took 20 seconds to dry. I bought this stuff because it's alcohol free so isn't that harsh on the skin and I agree.
