Well I bought these balaclavas about two weeks ago for a winter hike up Mount McLaughlin in Oregon at 8 deg low and 17 deg high, these balaclavas initially seemed a lot thinner than I expected was afraid of how they would behave. I wasn't disappointed, they work really well and keep my head and neck so warm I didn't want to cover my face. They were very comfortable and flexible, they felt so good I even slept in them which helped when the temperature dropped. The workmanship and stitching were…

Two for $10. Good product! Good price! Very wearable warmth (Scandinavian weight) and sun protection.

The "Nordic" isn't super fat either, but there are TWO of them! You can double up if you want super coziness. I usually move when using them so I really like that weight of the fabric. Super soft, stretchy and comfortable! I've used a balaclava for years for biking, snowboarding, hiking, winter running and generally staying warm through the winter. Excellent for this price. It's very thin, but just enough to block the wind and keep my face from chapping or getting cold. I have a decent sized head, I'm comfortable. I really wanted one of these as 'options' and I'm happy to say that it's easy to move off my nose, under my nose, under my mouth and under my chin. They all work fine. I've had my eye on something like this for a long time

I've had my eye on something like this for a long time. Things were either a bit more expensive than I was willing to pay for something that might not work. But with this one I got two of them but what really drew me in was the video review someone did about them. As I work outdoors all day, I chose the Scandinavian version as it is their warmer model.
