I bought this for hiking because I can't afford Helinox chairs. Yes it weighs twice as much but seems to work well and comfortably. I bought 2 and the quality control of the second one was poor. I had to remove the end caps and cut the shock cords because they were about an inch longer each on one of the chairs.

Too bad I can't give five stars. Beautiful chair, beautiful, comfortable. My (big) problem is that fitting the chair to the legs was so difficult that I'm afraid to take it apart (I couldn't "stretch" the fabric to fit the legs); which is ridiculous for a portable folding chair.

Ok the first one I bought was sent to me on time which surprised me but when I received it my leg was bent to the point that i couldnt sit down without falling to the ground so i got it back no problem now the second i got was the leg a bit back but not as bad as the other so i tried it had to hold 280lbs i i weigh 223 and due to my weight she started bending that leg even worse on day 3. Bought this for day trips to sit at lunch and enjoy the view. Comes with a small case with attached loops. I use two elastic cords, thread them through two loops, and then attach them to the bottom outside of the backpack. My husband has a much more expensive copy of this chair from another company. They appear to be of the same quality, although this one costs a lot less dollars. It's lightweight, portable, quick and easy to assemble. All poles are attached with an elastic cord so all you have to do is insert the pole into the socket and attach the fabric seat.
