Protects well from sand and waves.

It's awkward to plug and unplug the phone, but taking photos works well. I bought it to protect my phone during a trip to Hawaii. I ended up being too nervous to take it snorkeling, but after getting a little off the beach I dunked it a few feet underwater to photograph the coral. I also tried to catch sea lions but they were too fast. I used it in the hot tub to take photos of friends. I don't think it can replace an underwater camera on a snorkeling trip, but for boating or whitewater rafting

Fits easily into the S9+/waterproof/built-in case. However, making calls in the house is not easy

I'll keep it short and sweet. I recommend it and it's totally waterproof. It's not perfect and lacks user-friendly features, but it works. Pros: 1. It will definitely handle huge phones.2. It is totally waterproof.3. It is very well made, especially in this price range. Cons: 1. You can use your phone while in it, but it's not that easy. The transparent part definitely affects the usability and the sides definitely hinder using the side buttons. However, if you buy this it's because it'sโ€ฆ

was an HTC and its camera worked well in an underwater case

They definitely work as a waterproof case. I bought 2 of these for my boyfriend and for our trip to Maui and after testing the cases for the first time with paper towels inside (with success) we went to the pool to try and get some underwater shots. My iPhone 5's camera didn't work well with the case. I was able to navigate my phone screen through the case underwater, but when I tried to take a picture my camera couldn't focus through the case and underwater. I either had a blurry blue photo or
