Good for snapping

I have a red Rav4 and these sensors are almost a color match. I'm very happy with how they look. Also the included hole saw was able to make the perfect hole for the sensors. If you can remove the bumper, installation is pretty easy. I wish the cables were a little longer. With an SUV like mine, cable length becomes an issue. They're also great for reverse or parallel parking, but aren't as good at pulling out of a spot and spotting oncoming vehicles when reversing. My wife's car has factory…

Exactly what I was looking for.

Works well so far. It looks really good if you get it right and take your time, and seems to be working really well so far. The pilot bit on the bit included in the kit was very flimsy and wouldn't go through my plastic bumper so I had to use a different bit and then use a hole saw to drill the hole. The real hole saw worked fine but the pilot attachment didn't work. I didn't remove my bumper for this install, I used fishing tape and a friend fished it all out with pliers through the space in…

Looks factory installed!

I have been buying/using backup sensors of this type for many years. I love her. I put them on my daughter's car and mine. No problem, they ALWAYS work and work perfectly. This time I matched the gray ones with my gray sprout. Initially, the sensor's colors looked brighter, but after installation, they matched perfectly. They work great too. I only used 3, 1 on each end and 1 in the middle. The speaker/buzzer is located at the rear and is loud enough to be heard above normal radio listening…

Doesn't seem to work as well as some other inexpensive sets

I have mixed feelings about this set. Build quality is cheap, but I wasn't expecting much. Functionally, it worked brilliantly for several weeks, and then suddenly it started false alarming - detecting apparent obstacles that just weren't there. I installed this on a convertible which is a little difficult to fit (because of the small plastic rear window). I was fine with that until that false alarm kicked in. I disabled the sensors one by one and found that only one of them is causing the…

2008 Tundra Steel Bumper Sensors

Please read below for details on these backup sensors. Bought these for my 2008 Toyota Tundra which you may or may not know is a big truck. So I went into town and started installing. I have a steel bumper so I needed a step drill to drill through it. Supplied as a kit but is suitable for plastic bumpers but not steel. For me, the size of the gauges required the step bit to fit the 7/8 mark. After drilling, make sure the transducer is inserted smoothly and not tightly. When it's solid, it…
