The proportions of these socks are completely wrong. The sock is perfect for my 6 year old daughter who wears large size 3 booties...the tubular portion of the sock is so tight it pinches her ankle and lower calf leaving imprints. I bought a size 4-11...this size has nothing to do with toddler shoes as as I said part of the foot is roomy on it. The only sealed part is on the pipe part.

Well, I tried to decipher the reviews in what size to order socks for my granddaughter (3.5 years old). I went big and they are too big for a 10-12 year old. Anyway, the socks are very soft and comfortable, so I will order these socks in the right size. I keep them for my older granddaughters. Doesn't appear to be as thick as the boy socks but I'm sure that's to be expected. They are beautifully soft, the colors are bright and beautiful!
