I bought this for my 3 (almost 4) year old who is in the tall and thin category. It sits well on the waist. It's a little loose at his hips, but I didn't want to go smaller because the eyelet is more generous on the larger size. He pees standing up, but he always has to take off his underwear completely, so we showed him the convenience of a peephole. It's soft but not the softest fabric, I mean you get what you pay for right? All in all I can recommend it for everyday use.

The picture shows the size difference between 2-3T and 4-5T models. I bought the smaller ones for my 2 year old and the larger ones for my 4 year old. The fabric is also slightly different (4-5T - 100% cotton). For the price it's ok. The reason I gave 3 stars is because I didn't choose my drawing. My son loves sports and he chooses the ones with balls. I didn't see any warnings that I wouldn't choose a pattern (it should be the very first option in the description) and it caused a huge tantrum…

This is a great set of little boxers for my 4 year old. The 100% cotton looks really nice here - they came through the first wash very soft and fit my tall little guy perfectly. He loves her more than anything. We were trying to get him to wear special knickers at night so we chose this boxer shorts design to differentiate those night knickers from his day knickers and he is happy as a clam to be able to wear them at night.
