I bought 2 of these and both were the wrong size.

Do not buy. You are not the right size. I ordered one a while ago and forgot it was the wrong size and sent it back and then ordered another one thinking it might fit the right size but no. They were almost 4 inches shorter than the estimated 25 inches.

  • Absolute legend
Cons

TT ran at correct speed

I installed this belt on the MCS 6202 after trying a different belt from a set of belts I had on hand. With the supplied belt, the turntable ran about 4% slower than determined with the strobe disc. This belt was slightly wider, about 1/4 inch. This belt adjusted the speed to make it appear almost perfect with a strobe light.

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Modern

Very Bad Seller - Good Item

This strap was too big for my turntable. I sent the seller a very detailed email wanting to return this 25 inch belt for a smaller size. The seller didn't even bother to call me back. Terrible customer service from sellers. I will never order from them again nor will I recommend them. As for the product itself. I think it would be ok. Rubber belt, there's nothing to talk about. Just don't expect this seller to give you advice or know the right belt size for your turntable. I measured myself and

Repaired my Marantz 6100 #

It repaired my Marantz 6100 but it was advertised as a PRB FRX25.0 turntable belt with a 25.0 inch circumference. Its circumference is about 22 inches. When you install it, you really should stretch it. I bought a real PBR FRX25.0 belt from a local shop 12 years ago that wasn't as tight as a rubber belt like this one. This came in a plain foil bag with nothing on it except a part number and the words "Made in China". Don't get me wrong, that solved the problem, but a bit tight in my opinion.

Pros
  • Something about it
Cons
  • No mold required

Vinyl Rules! suitable for turntables and accessories

bought my old turntable after buying a new receiver and found that it didn't support constant speed. Simply removing the platter led to the detection of a lack of belt tension on the platter. After doing a little research online for replacement belts and considering my options, I settled on this product. (But make sure you replace it with the size and type of your existing belt if you need a replacement.) I could have paid a lot more but didn't see any value for the extra money. This strap fits

Works great on a vintage 80's turntable

Works great on my Fisher MT-862 turntable. I found the turntable on the side of the road gathering dust, brought it home and cleaned it. I noticed that there is no belt, but there are no instructions for it. After researching online, I found that belt size can be determined by measuring the diameter of the inner ring on the rim, multiplying that by 3.14, and then subtracting about 3% (due to belt elasticity). Based on that, I determined that the 25 inch belt was the next belt size that seemed…

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • So far so good
