Waste of Money for my opinion

Computers are my passion, and I had high hopes for this component .After i put IT to the test, I was extremely disappointed. It didn`t perform well and made a lot of noise. The only pro was that it fit easily into my computer. The cons outweighed the pros, and I wouldn't recommend wasting your money on this product..

Pros
  • Efficient power delivery with high power density
Cons
  • Requires more space in the server cabinet due to its redundant design

Working Internal Components

The unit works as advertised and I can change modules without shutting down the system. I ordered a replacement Module 520 and received a Module 720. The packaging was correct but the label on the outside of the box was incorrect. I took this opportunity to try the 720 module in the 520 block and it worked correctly. The 720 module had higher fan speeds and lower wattage, but I found similar differences between the two 520 modules: I wish it was "modular" so there wasn't a bunch of cables…

Pros
  • 80 Plus Gold Compliant, Latest UL 62368 Compliant
Cons
  • Annoys me
