Retro design: camera and photo

Great little camera for people who want to move and take pictures. The only thing I don't like is the lack of a viewfinder. This is very necessary in the bright sun.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Power socket required

Perfect purchase, do not open and return!

Nice to buy but not to own. Nobody will take you seriously as a photographer anyway, just use your mobile phone! and subscribe to "Unhappy" on YouTube. He taught me that you can return 90 percent of the stuff you buy and still say you own it.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Nothing here

Great camera, app needs an overhaul

This camera takes amazing pictures and is great for beginners. The companion app is a bit unwieldy and takes some getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, it's fine. I hope they update it sometime in the future. Overall I would buy this camera again over Sony.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • No performance

Great step up camera

I see a lot of mixed reviews here but this is a bad workman (photographer) blaming his tools. I like my camera the way it is: a good, lightweight camera with lots of great features. No, it's not a Hasselblad, but it does what most people want: takes great photos and doesn't weigh much.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Minor issues

Nearly perfect! in Mirrorless Cameras

I like everything about this camera from the ultra light weight and good looks to the cool lens with powerful zoom and sharp images, except the lack of a viewfinder. Why didn't they add the tiny viewfinder that's so essential for outdoor photography? I bought this camera primarily for travel/landscape photography so a viewfinder is a must. If you're buying it primarily for everyday use (like family photography and indoor activities), then this camera is probably the best!

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Will write later

The camera often freezes and the battery gets stuck every time

The camera started to freeze every time I played a lot with shutter speed, ISO and aperture. It's not for intensive use, but it's great for travel, but if you're looking for a pro camera for beginners, look elsewhere. After I bought another camera for my photography I started using this camera for vlogging and the camera started freezing again and recently the battery got stuck in the camera and now I have to use duct tape to fix it pulling it out every time I want to change batteries. This…

Pros
  • While I'm happy
Cons
  • Something else

Great camera if you already have a bag with you

It was a good camera but we ended up sending it back. Carry a giant SLR with you wherever you go. We did some research and it topped the charts. We tested the camera for two weeks in a variety of conditions - indoors, outdoors, at night, from afar, etc. I wanted it to zoom more with the included lens, but when we saw the photos on the computer we were able to do that Enlarge the photo and everything remained a very clear image, so the zoom was in post-processing. I also didn't like the lack of…
