My cat doesn't love me anymore

My cat was horrified by this thing when I first put it on, but after I put it on the shelf he realized he could sit there and look down at me. he spends all his time there. He hugged me, meowed, knocked over my water cups. no, now he just sits there all day and silently judges me.

Excellent product: Cats

Excellent product. I like the quality of the product. It comes with everything you need to install it. The packaging is also of high quality. I have bought various Fukumaru products and they are all great. Highly recommended. The only thing about it is that the mat doesn't stick very well to the velcro that sticks to the shelf.

Very impressed with the quality

I bought these shelves (along with other Fukumaru products) for the hallway walls which were practically empty. My cats have scratching posts but like to climb, so I decided to treat and buy some stuff for them. These shelves in particular are fantastic. Solid wood with quality brackets, very easy to assemble. The included screws and anchors are decent BUT I bought my own heavy-duty drywall anchors because I don't want my cats to fall and Fukumaru recommended not using the included drywall…

Stupid if you count on drywall anchors.

These shelves are more fragile than I expected for the money. Before you hang them on the wall, they look amazing. But after installation, you will find that L-shaped supports are not enough. When my cats jump from the top level onto a shelf, they press down hard on the supports and yank them off the wall. I had to reinstall the shelf several times before finally screwing the extra wood into the wall studs and then installing the shelf onto the wood. That's a lot of hassle as I've drilled my…

Worst wall mount design ever made that didn't come with drywall components

The quality is good and if you can work around the wall mount issues it's excellent but this thing was on for three reasons most annoying when installing it: (1) The support beam between the L bracket and the actual shelf covers the top screw hole in each L bracket. Who came up with that anyway? To install it you will definitely need a very long shank screwdriver or a flexible drill bit holder to maneuver around the support beam, but in any case you are still at a very awkward angle that puts…
