for a hard mattress it would probably work ok, but for softening up a medium mattress it made it firmer, which is impressive.Will probably use it to line pillows or something, not worth returning.

Purchased this to attempt to add some comfort to new bunk beds for our nieces & nephews who were placed with us. The mattresses that came with the beds were basically camper mattresses that had little more support than a box spring! These did not help much at all. I was really hoping for more. As soon as I can afford them, I'm just going to purchase new memory foam mattresses & be done. Should have did that to begin with, now I've just wasted $50.

I like having a firm mattress. But I wanted just a little bit of cushion so I searched for a 1 inch foam topper. This one is working out perfectly for me. It adds just a little cushion while preserving the firmness.I do agree with the reviewers that it's not high-density. However it's not low-density either. I guess you could call it medium-density foam. Anyway I am quite happy with it.

As a mattress topper I would not recommend. Even after letting it sit, it did not puff up to anything comfortable. I am using it to convert a table to an ottoman and fold it three time for thickness. For my purpose- it’ll due.

It's my fault for not reading it completely, but I thought this was memory foam. It you want regular foam, this might work for you. I weigh 235lbs and it compresses to nothing, under my core. I can squeeze it together between 2 fingers with barely any effort. I'll put it on the guest bed 🤷‍♂️

This came tightly wrapped, but expanded pretty quickly. It's exactly what I needed to make the bed a bit softer. I compared the price of many, and felt this was a good value for the quality.

Use this to my10yr bed for extra comfort cause his old mattress need be replaced funds kind tight so I put on bed when he woke up next morning he said mom u got my new mattress cause my body sunk into it like the ones on tv I said son no that’s just a topper I said I like this better than a mattress so he’s satisfied a good pick I must say

Very pleased. My hips were in pain. I suddenly remembered the egg crate bedding. I sleep on the edge of a queen size bed and plan to buy a twin bed. . So I ordered a twin. After reading the reviews about the 1 inch, I ordered the 2 inch. My cat and I are very happy. Slept well with reduced back, hip and legs pain.
