The color "multicolor" is NOT pastel like the picture. These are typical multicolored red/blue/green/orange lights. The flicker adjustments are very quick and not pleasant to look at up close. The strand is a good length and the lights themselves work well. I just wish they were the color shown in the photo and a flicker setting other than "Rave".

We installed 4 of the 8 strands we bought a week ago, the yellow lights went out on all 4 strands in less than an hour. Now after a few more hours of use the red lights are not working. All we have left is blue and green. This is an awful product. We take apart the Christmas tree and go to Lowes to buy garlands.

Was very lucky to get these lights. They worked for about a day when I put them in my Christmas tree, and now the red and yellow lights on the strands randomly flicker like crazy (like the strand is about to explode)! Very disappointing as I really liked them. Definitely not robust and improved as they claim in the product description. They are also not very securely connected to the outlet which is VERY annoying and very dangerous for a fire!

These are pretty standard lanterns and don't go as well with the wood as the green wire lanterns. So if you want to use it on a tree, wrap the cord around the top and bottom of the branches. , closer to mid-torso to hide them a bit. I got them on my fence for Easter. In fact, they walked further along my fence than I expected.
