You will lose your antenna investment!

Complete scrap! The thread was untied, and the threads were torn off only when installing the antenna! I put some pressure on it and it just snapped... if you want to keep your antenna, don't buy this mount! You will definitely lose it in the wind! don't save money!

Pros
  • Easy way to convert a UHF mount to an NMO mount
Cons
  • Fits

NMO antenna mount for my boat, worked great!

Of course, works both as an NMO mount and as a PL259 mount for my antennas. I am currently using the Comet B10NMO on my boat which is tuned to marine VHF and works very well. You can also adjust the height/mounting level of the PL259 by moving the lock nuts up or down.

Pros
  • Antennas
Cons
  • Empty

Brass adapter that converts a 5/8-24 UHF thread to a 1-1/8-18 NMO adapter converts a bit messy on the 5/ side eight. Worst case it would have come loose from the threads of the UHF mount, no o-ring on the NMO adapter on the bottom. and there's no groove to add one. If you don't mind increasing your SWR by 0.5 from 1:1 to 1.5:1 and only use it outdoors, you might be fine. While 1.5 is acceptable for some, as the antenna and coax started out with a 1:1 flat ratio, it wasn't for me until this part

  • Accessory
Cons
  • Interchangeable
