Good socks, odd size.

I ordered size XS 4-6 and it fits my 5 year old (who wears size 11 shoes). Sizing is confusing as description says shoe size fits 4-6 (which obviously doesn't fit). Otherwise the socks seem to be good. Everything is soft inside and they are slightly higher than other short socks.

Pros
  • The size is slightly larger
Cons
  • The limited color options may not appeal to children who prefer lighter colored or patterned socks.

Son did not agree

They were bought for my son to try and unfortunately they bothered him. They were too tight around his leg and not soft enough for his liking. Worth a try if you want durable socks but I had to send them back so can't comment on how they hold up.

Pros
  • Good product! Keeps my son's feet dry and warm!
Cons
  • Wool fabrics can cause itching or irritation in children with sensitive skin.

Job done my mind

It works as expected. Keep in mind that these are thicker socks and the shoes can become tight with them. A sock tore at the seam the first time it was worn. I sewed it.

Pros
  • I bought 9 pairs because he liked them so much.
Cons
  • Only 50% wool, 40% nylon. Wash the cold line dry. Very thick - size S 6-8 is great for my 4 year old who is 10ft tall.

Great socks to keep baby's feet warm

I wanted to put socks on the kids when they went to play snowball. These socks are just the thing. If desired, they go very high up to the knee and also offer enough thickness for insulation. The only downside I see is that you can turn your kid into a snob if you buy them these socks. After a few washes, they settled a bit and the fibers parted a bit - and that's great! They stretch to accommodate different foot sizes.

Pros
  • Great price worked well
Cons
  • Thick material can take longer to dry after washing, making them less comfortable than other sock options.

I love my wool socks

I love wool socks. I'm 58 years old, I weigh 100 pounds so I have cold feet. I have already mentioned that I wear size 3 children's shoes. Socks are hard to find in a children's store so I am very happy with this purchase and will order again.

Pros
  • This year, during the hunting season, my child's feet stayed warm. It's all thanks to these socks.
Cons
  • Not suitable for the warm season as the thick wool material can be uncomfortable.

Perfect socks! - my new rating

Fit, softness and warmth with a fleece lining make these socks perfect for winter or even all year round when your feet get cold!

Pros
  • Just buy...
Cons
  • The socks are really bulky. They don't stay and crunch down.

Warm and cozy - my new review

These socks are warm and thick but not bulky. They fit my 8 year old (size 2) and 6 year old (size 11) equally well. One says they itch but she has sensitive skin. Another says they are very soft.

Pros
  • Keeps my grandson's feet warm. The size was correct.
Cons
  • Very small - wrong size - return

Good choice, suits me

My 5 year old boy loves them! Sometimes he wears them instead of slippers. Inside very soft. However, they take up almost the full shoe size of your child. This is good, but must be taken into account when dressing a child.

Pros
  • Excellent material! Very warm. Exactly what I was looking for.
Cons
  • May not be as durable as other materials, meaning they will wear out or need to be replaced sooner.

Good warm baby socks.

My daughter wore them this winter while playing outside and hunting deer and she says they keep her feet warm. These are warm but don’t stay up. They stretched out after 10 minutes of wearing them..

Pros
  • Most children's wool socks aren't high enough to fit on their boots, but these are.
Cons
  • You are warm but not going to bed. Stretched after 10 minutes of wear.

Too big - my rating is the best in my rating

The socks are very good. However, this grandmother did not understand that there is a height difference between children and toddlers. My 2 year old grandson wears size 7 shoes. I ordered a small size 6-8 shoe. They are huge! I'll wash a pair in hot water. Maybe they're shrinking.

Pros
  • Hike
Cons
  • I just think they run small and I think they're too thick. I bought them for a ski trip to Colorado. Fur!

LITTLE my rating

I liked the socks but the size in the description is wrong. It says "CHOOSE YOUR SIZE: XS for kids shoes 3-8 or Small for 8-13" - I think their sizes are for toddlers not boys. My son is a size 1 for a boy and XS runs a bit small. These socks are not as elastic in the foot as other brands. Reorder for a larger size.

Pros
  • The socks fit as expected and my kids have not complained while skiing.
Cons
  • Works little. Very good socks, will order one size larger.

Size information - not for small children!

The sizing information from the seller and in the reviews is confusing so I just want to add my experience. It is definitely not for children! I ordered size "XS 4-6" for my 20 month old who wears size 6T shoes. They are too big - at least an inch of excess material at the top. I'm keeping them because someday they will fit her, but definitely not for long. Hope this helps someone else!

Pros
  • Socks
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Warm but thick and rough

Good wool socks for babies are hard to find. I wish they could do better. While they've kept feet warm during the Minnesota winter, these socks are anything but soft or comfortable. They are rough and crunchy. They have not softened after washing. With Merino I was expecting something cozier. Also note that they are very slippery on hardwood floors. My son couldn't wear them indoors. We reserved them for outdoor adventures in the snow.

Pros
  • Clothes, shoes and jewelry
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Slightly prickly

I bought these for my kids to go skiing. One of them wore socks. The other two put them on and took them off after about 5 minutes as they were very itchy. We washed them and tried again but they are still itchy. We'll probably use them as a second pair of socks (with one on the bottom) but for now I'd probably just ask them to use two regular socks instead of buying these. One nice thing I would like to say is that they fit our young children very well.

Pros
  • Clothing
Cons
  • No weapon
